Description
A handmade Argentine knife with a 14 cm stainless blade, braided leather on the handle, and a leather sheath cut to fit it.
In Argentina the knife belongs to the asador. It comes to the table, it does the carving, and it goes back in its sheath at the end. The braided leather work on this one is why it is usually bought as a gift rather than for the kitchen drawer.
At 14 cm the blade is short enough to handle at the table and long enough to carve a picanha or a strip. For a whole roast or a rib rack, the 20 cm is the better tool.
Hand wash and dry it straight away. Never the dishwasher, and keep it in the sheath.
