Description
Pyramid-shaped sea salt flakes from Cyprus, uncoloured. Clean sea salt taste, and a brittle hollow structure that gives you a crunch rather than dissolving straight into the food.
Same job as the black Cyprus flakes, without the visual contrast. If you want the crunch and the clean salt but not black specks on a pale piece of fish or chicken, this is the one.
Use it as a finishing salt. Ordinary fine salt before cooking, these on at the end after resting. On a steak, put them on once it is sliced so they sit on the cut surface.
Also good on grilled chicken, seafood, roasted potatoes, salads, eggs, and bread with butter.
